December Case #2

38 y/o AAF presents to the ED with a sore throat for 2 weeks, which she states is getting worse. She admits to subjective fever but denies cough, SOB, N/V, dysphagia or drooling. She states that her voice sounds different.
PMHx: none
PSHx: none
Meds: none
Allergies: NKDA

PE:
GEN: overweight, AAF, NAD, speaks with a "hot potato" voice
HEENT: PERRL, EOMI, MMM, R tonsilar pillar edematous, no exudate, uvula angled to the L, mild LAD on R
CHEST: CTA B, nonlabored
CV: RRR, no M/R/G
